Terms of Use

Using Keepscan

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Keepscan on Android devices you own or control, for personal or business purposes, in line with these terms. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows you to.

Your documents

You own everything you scan, import and create with Keepscan. We claim no rights to it, and because your documents are stored on your phone and not on our servers, we never receive them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for what you scan and share. Only scan, copy, sign or distribute documents you have the right to, and follow the rules that apply to them, including any restrictions on copying identity documents.

Keep your own copies

Keepscan stores documents only on your phone. If your phone is lost, reset or damaged, or you uninstall the app, the documents inside it are gone, and we have no copy to restore. Use Back up documents in Settings, or save important documents elsewhere, regularly.

If you password-protect a PDF, keep the password safe. Neither Keepscan nor we can recover it, and without it the PDF cannot be opened.

Keepscan Pro

Keepscan Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features on any Android device signed in to the same Google account. It is not a subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy. Payment, refunds and billing questions are handled by Google Play under its own policies. Scanning, saving and sharing PDFs remain free without Pro.

We may improve, change or add features over time. If a feature included in Pro is ever removed, we will do our best to offer a fair replacement.

Accuracy

Keepscan is designed to produce clean, legible scans, but results depend on lighting, the camera and the original paper. Edge detection, filters, compression and text recognition can make mistakes. Check important documents, and especially copied text, before you rely on them.

Availability and updates

We provide Keepscan and updates to it through Google Play. We aim to keep it working well, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or available on every device or Android version.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Keepscan is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent the law allows, Truetech Solutions is not liable for any lost data, lost documents, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Keepscan. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Keepscan Pro, if anything. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

The content of keepscan.truetechsol.org is provided for information about Keepscan. Links to other websites, such as Google Play, are provided for convenience and are governed by those sites' own terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts of Pakistan will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Keepscan changes. We will post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using Keepscan after a change, the updated terms apply.
